steampunk dress: out and about

the dress i made for

we decided to be steampunk characters for halloween. i had about 3 weeks to finish both costumes.

this was mid construction. the belt is not the same as the one used on the finished dress, the bustle was changed and the shirt was dyed. all in all, it's very similar.

*everything on her dress was made from scratch with the exception of the shirt, belt, gloves, purse and the boots.
