My Bio
After gaining some attention at a young age, I was introduced to the art world and accepted into a private fine arts program at the age of 8. Through school, I began to involve myself in theatre and, by high school, scenic design and prop manufacturing was my passion. In college I was fortunate enough to have the chance to design several shows. Shortly after, I began an internship with a local CLO and became their resident scenic artist and had was given the wonderful opportunity to design the set for the west coast regional theatre premier of "Urinetown: The Musical" at Starlight in San Diego. Though I have been separated from theatre for some time, I still dabble in the field and have recently taken up sculpture and costuming. At the moment, I am trying my hand at some new techniques and my life is overrun by trees in jars. I couldn't be happier.

Halloween 2011

0 min read
I know it seems early but I've already begun to think about my halloween costume. After uploading far too many pictures of my 2010 costume, I started to fee the itch. See... I have this problem. I go too far, when it comes to halloween. I love it too much! 2010: Perseus- I spent a few months and at least $300 making the costume. Possibly more. Sure, the end result was (dare I say) awesome but it was a ton of work and I hardly had a chance to show it off. 2009: Cowardly Lion- A perfect example of a year where I focused on helping others and making cohesive group costumes. All my friends picked an Oz character and added a twist. I was a punk

i said i was going to keep up with my dA page but it got away from me again. it looks as if people were browsing the site for steampunk things for halloween because i've been popular! but i do feel bad. there are just too many favs to comment on and i hope people don't think i don't care. i do! in other news... i just posted my big gun on ebay! i priced it high because there's no way i'm letting it go without feeling like it's worth it. bring on the bids! if anyone is interested, let me know! i'm also open to commissions. i need an excuse to be creative these days.

it's been a long time since i've had a chance to commit myself to dA. i'm only just getting around to posting my first journal! i'm not sure how i let that slide for so long. for starters, i want to thank the large number of people who have been commenting on and favoriting (yeah yeah... not a real word. i know) my art! i hate being one of those people who doesn't reply because i know it matters. i am truly thankful to everyone! that being said, i had to remove the pages and pages of notifications that had built up over the last few months. it would have just taken too long to reply to them all... there's just too much catching up to be don

Hello, you've been featured here! [link]
My name is Michaela Thunberg and I'm from Sweden. I'm organizing a steampunk LARP and I wonder if you'd let me borrow one or two pictures you have put up on DeviantArt for inspiration for our members and workshops. The pictures will be shown on our website. [link]
Of course we will link to you website and deviantart page and put a copyright-logo with you name on it (either under the picture or on it).

Hope to hear from you soon!
